Verde Steak Fajitas
Marinate your flank steak in our HERDEZ TAQUERIA STREET SAUCE® Original Verde for an easy but flavor-packed fajita recipe!

Ingredients
- 1-pound flank steak
- Salt and pepper
- 1 bottle HERDEZ TAQUERIA STREET SAUCE® Original Verde Mild
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 red onion, sliced
- 1 orange bell pepper, sliced
- 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
- 1 lime, juiced
- 1 tablespoon fajita seasoning
- 8 fajita style flour tortillas
GARNISH
- Drizzle HERDEZ® Guacamole Salsa
- Cotija cheese crumbles
- Cilantro
Directions
- Season steak with salt and pepper, then add to large plastic bag. Pour in HERDEZ TAQUERIA STREET SAUCE® Original Verde Mild and seal the bag. Make sure meat is coated in sauce, then refrigerate 2 hours.
- In large skillet heat oil over medium high heat. Cook steak 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway (or until internal temperature reaches 135°).
- Remove meat and let rest in foil. Add onion and bell peppers to same skillet. Add remaining HERDEZ TAQUERIA STREET SAUCE® Original Verde Mild from marinade bag. Add lime juice and fajita seasonings. Cook vegetables over medium high heat about 5-10 minutes.
- Slice steak and serve with peppers and onions, tortillas, HERDEZ® Guacamole Salsa, cotija cheese and cilantro.
