Ingredients
- 1-pound ground beef
- 1/2 yellow onion, diced
- 1 packet CHI-CHI’S® Taco Seasoning
- 8 CHI-CHI’S® Street Taco Style Flour Tortillas
- 8 hard taco shells
- 2 cups shredded cheddar, separated
TOPPINGS
- Shredded lettuce
- Sour cream
- CHI-CHI’S® Thick & Chunky Salsa Mild
- Guacamole
Directions
- In medium pan, over medium-high heat, cook ground beef and onion 5-7 minutes, or until meat is cook through.
- Add CHI-CHI’S® Taco Seasoning and cook according to package directions. Set meat mixture aside.
- Lay CHI-CHI’S® Street Taco Style Flour Tortillas flat on foil-lined baking sheet and sprinkle 1 1/2 cups cheese evenly on each tortilla.
- Bake at 400° for 3 minutes, until cheese is melted. Remove from oven, add hard shells to center of each tortilla, pressing one side of shell into the cheese. Return to oven for additional 3 minutes.
- Remove from oven and carefully remaining cheesy side onto hard shell, pressing the shell gently into the cheese.
- Add beef and remaining cheese evenly to each taco. Add with desired toppings.
