Chickpea and Chorizo Tostadas

Tostadas for breakfast, lunch or dinner! These Chickpea and Chorizo Tostadas are packed with flavor and protein.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup LA VICTORIA® SALSA BRAVA® Hot Sauce
  • 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 lime, juiced
  • 6 tostadas
  • 9-ounces pork chorizo
  • 1/2 onion, diced
  • 7-ounces garbanzo beans (chickpeas), drained and rinsed
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoons chipotle chili powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon coriander
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup crumbled Queso Fresca
  • 2 cups chopped lettuce
  • 2 tablespoons chopped cilantro
  • LA VICTORIA® SALSA BRAVA® Hot Sauce

Directions

  1. In small bowl, combine LA VICTORIA® SALSA BRAVA® Hot Sauce, Greek yogurt and sour cream and lime juice. Set aside.
  2. In medium saucepan, cook chorizo and onions for 8-10 minutes over medium-high heat. Set aside.
  3. In same pan, heat olive oil, cook chickpeas and seasonings for about 4 minutes until toasted.
  4. Spread about 2 tablespoons of LA VICTORIA® SALSA BRAVA® Hot Sauce mixture onto each tostada. Add chorizo mixture, chickpeas and Queso Fresca to each tostada.
  5. Top with lettuce, cilantro, and LA VICTORIA® SALSA BRAVA® Hot Sauce.
